A Winter Wedding

We’re planning on making our own elaborate manzanita trees this summer. But I want to change things up a bit on some tables and also have decorations for the buffet table, gift table, giftbook table, etc. So these are some super simple store-bought ideas for those kind of centerpieces. I’m really loving the one with the vase in it right now! All it would need was a simple bouquet to look cool. I’d probably drape some more bling on the other pre-fab trees.

Yep, it’s true—I definitely want blue shoes! Here are my favorite pics right now. And although it’s a little higher of a heel than I normally go with, I’m looking at shoes that are all at least 3inches in height…my dress is a little bit too long and I think I might be able to avoid altering the hemline (it’s lace, it’s going to be a big pain) with 3-4inch heels.

Black chair covers with royal blue sashes; black tablecloths; royal blue napkins; white china w/platinum band

The exit: sparklers and the boat.

Non-flower winter boutonniere ideas.

Vendela roses, ranunculus, white cala lillies, other winter white flowers? Sprigs of other greenery like cedar and juniper and winter berries.

Paper lights to edge the balcony window; lanterns for the bridesmaid’s hands.

We’ll be able to see the fireworks from the Space Needle from our wedding venue.

Snowflake or fireworks theme for the cake?

All things sparkly to capture the light. Branches on tables with hanging crystals and pearls?
